I have used a few of them but have settled on what is I think the standard non-free program, MindManager, because of the interesting GTD plugins from Gyronix. It has now both a Mac and PC version. Slightly buggy on Vista (occasional unexplained crashes but it has good autosave functions so I've never lost data) Love it. Use it daily. Not inexpensive though. --------- joseph at steig.com | 617-500-7376 EST On Fri, Jan 30, 2009 at 2:55 PM, Ross Grant <dearross at gmail.com> wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > > Hello, everyone. > I'm wondering if anyone can recommend mind mapping software to organize a > large amount of information. > > I use hand-drawn mind maps frequently to organize projects or to collect my > thoughts, and I've used the basic free program, FreeMind ( > http://freemind.sourceforge.net ).
