[Hidden-tech] high resolution screen capture app?

Hello,

can anyone suggest a (free?) high resolution screen resolution app
(for the mac).  I actually have ambrosia's snapz pro x but I can't
seem to find any preferences or settings that would allow me to get a
high res snapshot... ...it's driving me koo-koo...

or if anyone knows how to get a high res. file saved by doing the ole
mac OS shift>command>4 trick...I'd love to know too....
