I agree with Val.  You'll get a much better response to your message if it is
included within a trusted source like a newsletter rather than an out-of-blue
email.  I suggest that you locate a number of newsletters relevant to your
target market and pay to have your message included in their newsletters.

In fact, you can be really clever and submit an article to these newsletters
that ISN'T a sales piece and get links to your landing page that way. It's
even more effective and free. Newsletter owners are often in search of good
content for their newsletters.
