A couple of years ago I read about a great job opportunity through the
Hidden-Tech list-serv.  Pursuing the opportunity was definitely the
right move, as I love the position I now hold for the Harold Grinspoon
Foundation.  

 

The same recruiter who posted my current position, Brenda Wishart, has
two tech-related positions available for Mr. Grinspoon's West
Springfield based for-profit company, Aspen Square Management.  Check

Web Marketing Manager

Aspen is seeking a creative, hands-on Web Marketing Manager to manage
the transition of moving web site development and maintenance in-house;
lead on-line marketing efforts for our national portfolio; and, oversee
the redevelopment of the company's intranet.  The Web Marketing Manager
will work collaboratively with management, marketing and IT to create a
strong on-line presence ultimately helping our apartment communities
attract prospective residents.

Responsibilities include:

-         Manage all internet and intranet related projects by creating
effective synergy, collaboration and communication with members of
various departments

-         Design and develop our on-line brand to include web site
pages, content and images

-         Execute website navigation, data capture, content updates and
management for multiple property sites

-         Create interactive marketing strategies to increase on-line
traffic, deepen prospective resident relationships and convert online
visitors into leads

-         Develop strategies to maximize search engine marketing
programs 

-         Refresh web site content to ensure accuracy and timeliness of
information and images

-         Integrate new technologies into site as needed

 

Qualifications:

-         Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce or
comparable program

-         Minimum 3 years paid experience in web marketing and/or
project management   

-         Demonstrated ability to increase web traffic and drive sales

-         Understanding of ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Visual Studio and XML data

-         Familiarity with Adobe Flash animation & video, as well as web
services

-         Ability to work independently, multi-task, meet deadlines and
achieve goals

-         Exceptional interpersonal skills

 

 

Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Aspen is seeking an experienced Search Engine Optimization Specialist to
significantly increase its online visibility and web traffic.  

Responsibilities include:

-         Develop and execute strategies to maximize search engine
marketing programs (SEO, SEM) for search engines such as Google, MSN and
Yahoo 

-         Implement techniques such as keyword analysis, meta tag and
word optimization, competitive analyses, and link placement to increase
web visitors to various properties

-         Generate, monitor, analyze and respond to SEO reports to
enhance overall strategy

-         Create interactive marketing strategies to increase on-line
traffic, deepen prospective resident relationships and convert online
visitors into leads

 

Qualifications

-         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
E-Marketing or comparable major

-         Minimum 3 years paid experience in search engine optimization

-         Demonstrated ability to drive on-line traffic SEO & SEM
programs

-         Strong grasp of ASP.NET, ADO.NET and Visual Studio

-         Ability to read & write in C# language

-         Working knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics,
WebTrends, Omniture, Coremetrics and/or WebSideStory 

-         Familiarity with XML data, Adobe Flash animation and video

-         An interest in emerging technologies

-         Experience with a variety of web site designs and services

-         Proven ability to work independently, multi-task and deliver
positive results
