If you are editing video, you can use the Microsoft Movie Maker for free. If it isn't installed you can download it from microsoft.com. Specifically: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx Adobe Premiere is the elite editing software, but movie maker is good for quick edits. I've used them both extensively over the years.
