[Hidden-tech] Cell phone Choice

Thinking that this was primarily a cell phone thread, the iPod Touch never
occurred to me as a solution. I'm a big fan of my "iTouch." It has virtually
all the apps of an iPhone, without the phone and the expensive calling plan
that goes along with it. Web browsing is pretty straightforward, and Wi-Fi
is, well, Wi-Fi; it works as well on the iPod Touch as with any regular
Wi-Fi device.

You won't be able to put your entire CD collection on it, but it's a great
companion to other business tools. And, new, specialized apps are being
added all the time, from Apple and other vendors. There's a great assortment
of astronomy apps, for example.
