Following up on Afranio's note about the special effects presenter
yesterday.

I'd like to add a note that the NE Adobe Users Group will be meeting
at Marlboro Tech Center next Tuesday afternoon - 7 April. According
to a recent posting (if I understand correctly) NEAUG is looking for
future guest speakers involved with interesting projects: people who
Adobo/Macromedia products, or who can demonstrate and broaden
understanding of how to use the tools.

See http://www.neaug.org

Also Brattleboro Museum and Art Center usually has a monthly Artists
Potluck on the second Friday of each month... with the next being on
Friday, April 10th.

We start with (self-prepared) food between 5:30 and 6 p.m., followed
by desserts (ours) and hot drinks (provided by BMAC). Some months
it is purely social and networking, but the event is drifting toward
a presentation format.

This month, starting at 7 we will have a live Internet stream-to-
screen so that Adam Silver (of the Asian Cultural Center of Vermont -
http://www.cxsilvergallery.com ) and I can give a presentation about
using on-line galleries and certain social network tools to promote
one's art exposure. Not too techie... hopefully something new for
everyone.

BMAC is a significant regional contemporary arts teaching and
exhibiting organisation with four large galleries and an informed
staff. Artists gathering for the potluck group drive in from
Williamstown/North Adams, MA over to Peterborough, NH east to west,
and from as far south as Holyoke and from up in Lebanon, NH and the
Norwich/Woodstock/White River area of Vermont. Visit http://
www.bmac.org or to find out more about the potlucks, check http://
