[Hidden-tech] App for reserving resources, signing up for work-shops, and tracking use/participation

Hi Christian, I'd recommend a MySQL query app called Navicat instead of 
Access if you're going to set up a LAMP server, unless you've got some 
legacy support for an Access app you need to maintain.

I've done a couple PHP/MySQL reservation systems and I'd be glad to chat 
with you about honing your requirements and considering your options if 
you like.  I think you might want to separate the workshop reservation 
app from the equipment reservations, they could share core services but 
might have enough differences that it would be easier to maintain as 
separate apps.  I haven't looked into the Joomla extensions Rich 
mentioned but I'm curious what they have to offer and whether they're 
flexible enough to do what you'd like to do.
