Less Worry Job Title: Sales Team Manager Reports To: General Manager Review Schedule: 90 Days (Completion of Probationary Period) Annually - December DESCRIPTION: : The Sales Team Manager is responsible for justifying, implementing and tracking sales that build and sustain demand for DesignWork's niche-market products and services. Supervises, motivates and fully trains the Sales/Customer Service team and helps them with specific calls that are beyond their scope. PRIMARY DUTIES: * Managers daily development of all orders by (1) ensures that orders are filled out of stock as much as possible, (2) ensuring that Sales/Customer Service team are up selling all orders, (3) ensuring that the department is on target to meet and or exceed monthly benchmarks and sales goals, (4) Views unallocated reports to maximize sales opportunities. * Conduct outgoing sales calls and email correspondence to assigned customers. * Meet and exceed their own assigned quarterly sales goals. * Proactively call on customers to inform them of new products and promotions via telephone and email * Retain customer business and satisfaction by building sales relationships within existing accounts. * Advancing prospects through the sales cycle with the ultimate goal of converting prospects into customers. Identifying leads and uncovering new opportunities. * Build customer relationships by responding to inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices and quotations and literature requests * Grow sales by developing ideas and creating new prospect base. * Supervises Sales/Customer Service team calls as to demeanor, technical accuracy and conformity to company policies. Recommends corrective action. * Works cooperatively with Production Scheduler to ensure booking/shipping meets and/or exceeds customer satisfaction.
