I switched to Mac about 18 months ago after 20 years on the PC
platform. It was 100% the right decision for me, I use it for
software development and graphic design. In terms of cross licensing
I called Adobe and they had some sort of cross-platform upgrade deal
that basically gave me the upgrade price for the new mac versions of
all the Adobe bits I have rather than having to buy it again. They
said I could only do it once.
