RTC announces new digital marketing seminars for 2008:

Series Kicks off with Viral Marketing

Springfield, MA - February 26, 2008 - The Regional Technology
Corporation (RTC) is pleased to announce that its Technology Enterprise
Council (TEC) network will be holding a series of five new seminars
throughout 2008 focused on digital marketing. This series sold out
quickly in 2007.

The first seminar, "Viral Marketing" will be held on Friday, March 21st
in the Tele-Classroom at Springfield Technical Community College's
(STCC) Technology Park in Springfield 8:30 -10:30 a.m.  

Seminars in this educational series will include Viral Marketing, Using
Social Networks as Marketing Tools, Business Blogging, Using Video to
Enhance Marketing, and Web Trends.  Web 2.0 based solutions are being
used for training, all aspects of marketing including advertising,
public relations and building brand equity as well as other types of
corporate information transfer.  

"The best part of this series is that you do not have to be a
technology-based company to leverage these cost effective technologies
in order to gain a competitive advantage," explained Ellen Bemben, RTC
President.  "One of the missions of the RTC is to bring new technologies
that can improve the way we do business to the attention of our members
and the business community as a whole.  This seminar series is an
excellent example of doing just that," continued Bemben.

The introductory Viral Marketing session will cover WHAT is viral
marketing, and HOW to use it as a business tool.  Guest presenters
include Nathan Winstanley, President of Winstanley Associates and John
Bidwell, President of Bidwell ID.  

The March 21st event is FREE to RTC members and $50 to non-members.
