[Hidden-tech] Verizon vs. Comcast

I've had both Comcast and Verizon for internet. Comcast is a bit better but
not worth the extra money. I pay about $17/mo for Verizon DSL (I have the
slower version) and have no complaints and don't miss Comcast at all. As to
TV reception, I live in South Hadley and can tell you that over the air
reception is very spotty and subject to much variation south of the notch.
This usually means that WWLP comes in fairly well but everything else is
snowy or intermittent. I spring for the $5/mo local channels only package
from Comcast but have consider abandoning that all together.
