[Hidden-tech] Significant boomer survey findings now posted on EONS

Hi All,

Preliminary findings from the EONS Virtual Business and Career Survey 
are available now on the Building a Virtual Company page (at top 
under EXPERT). They reveal both boomer needs and spending power.

The tool is still live and urgently needs more input so we can may 
hay out there!

Remember, we are in the midst of a hotly contested presidential race. 
The candidates mention health care, but haven't focused much on that 
of late. We need to get their focus BACK on this issue and many 
others that affect our lives now and in retirement.

Of particular concern, I believe, is career retraining. Another need, 
which I'm trying to fill on EONS along with Wendy Spiegel (career 
coach on EONS) is to provide the skills needed to run a small 
entrepreneurial operation, or build a large business if you like. But 
right now government programs like SCORE and the small business 
development centers are woefully funded.

Don't get me started on the data issue and the U.S. Census. This 
survey provides the sorts of question about the virtual work place 
and boomer retirement needs that the census does not ask, nor does 
the SBA. That means we are not being counted and DO NOT COUNT in the 
eyes of the government.

So, tell everyone you know to take this survey. The tool still lives 
on the Building a Virtual Company page. But EONS may well take it 
down, so hustle over and click through ASAP. All findings are in 
aggregate so no one knows who you are.

Also, I've asked the HT board to post the survey tool on this site to 
collect data. That's their call, but hope they do!
