[Hidden-tech] Constant Contact

Sorry to hear that, Jim. Constant Contact works really hard to avoid spam. I
get almost no Constant Contact spam. But when I do, I take the extra step to
mark it as spam.

When you click on unsubscribe, you have an option to indicate if it's spam.
Do it. It keeps the system clean for everyone.

I personally am very careful only to send to people who have given me the
OK, so I get some unsubscribes, but hardly any spams. But if I did get a
lot, Constant Contact would be calling me pronto.

There has been some favorable comments about Constant Contact. I have a

wait and see attitude. Here's why;

I get a lot of spam thru Constant Contact. Almost all of it is because of

my business name, National Wireless, Inc., and because fo my URL,

nationalwireless.com.

As you might think, most of this spam has to do with the cell phone

business. A small amount is for what I acctually do, radio and microwave

engineering.

Today the spam level hit 16 messages from Constant Contact out of a total

of aout 125 spams. So I called Constant Contact to see if I could get

removed. Yes, in the past I have clicked on 'remove' within the message but

that only does one spammer, and doesn't do that well. I still get it.

Talked to Eric. Then forwarded him the afternoon's mess. The upshot is I

was then asked if I wanted my URLs removed from their lists, which means I

would never get email from Constant Contact (sob, sob).

I requested that they go for it.

If anyone is interested, I'll let you know what happens in a few days.

My fingers are crossed, but breath is not held.
