Production & streaming are two different things. Assuming you have quality production equipment (video, lights, sound & crew) and can get a solid video source of what you want to stream you should be able to do it for much less than $10k. Take a look at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/streamingserver/. Basically your setup is a Mac/PC at the church 'eating' up the video signal and sending one stream (over DSL, Cable) to a streaming server (website). The streaming server sends the stream out to all of the customers. 2 hours of streaming is nothing if you have nobody watching the stream. It is a HUGE expense if you have thousands of viewers.
