Nice piece of news. Doesn't seem like a reason to move as Scott said, since it's all about NOT having a physical presence in Vermont, but still being able to get an LLC there. Lots of businesses (large and small) do this already by just having an "agent" in the state they are not "physically" working in. The new law seems to just allow they same, just not requiring and agent there and allowing all filing to be done online. Massachusetts has a very simple online filing system for LLC's also, though they still require a physical agent and mailing address in the state. Interestingly this is also beneficial from the state side as it gives a venue for increased registration with the state allowing the application of local laws to digital businesses. Cheers, Charles
