[Hidden-tech] need thoughts on future search tools for kid's book

Unless things fall apart (and there won't be any of this) then 25 years 
from now we will not have desktop computers. The editor's version is 
much closer than the original, though still unlikely given the speed of 
change and likelihood of completely new technologies. I think the 
original projection is about five years out.
