[Hidden-tech] Converting video files

Additionally- available cross platform (Linux, Mac and Windows) is the
utility that I use-
Avidemux.

It's at http://avidemux.berlios.de/index.html and I've used it
successfully on my Linux desktop. It offers a GUI, and you can also
run from the command line should you so desire.
