If you use IMAP, you really don't need to 'sync' your E-Mail.  One of
the important features of the IMAP protocol is that your mail folders
live on the the server machine.  This means that you can use any number
of clients on any number of machines (desktops, laptops, Blackberrys,
whatever), and have the same E-Mail 'state'.
