I've used Pioneer Valley Photovoltaics ('PV Squared' http://www.pvsquared.coop/) out of Greenfield to install my solar electric set up. They also do solar thermal and are a Coop. Ask for Jon, Matt, Kim, Bill or Philippe. I believe they're partners with Coop Power as well. If you're not familiar with Coop Power, they're a regional energy coop and are the ones behind the Greenfield biodiesel project among other things. Coop Power has a pretty good deal for a solar hot water system. This link explains the details: http://cooppower.onlinecommunity.coop/benefits/SolarInstallations/solarhotwa terkits I've also heard good things about Kosmo Solar and Berkshire Photovoltaics. Call Pablo Fleischmann at the GEO Solar Store in Keene, New Hampshire. He may not cover your area, but he will be able to recommend someone who does. He's a great guy, knows the solar business inside and out, and will be a valuable contact for you. His web page with contact information is at: http://www.usasolarstore.com/pages/stores/GEO.php Good luck! Has anyone had solar panels installed on their house and if so, who would you recommend? We are located in Southampton. We don't anticipate getting off the grid but hope we might power a 40 gallon indirect hot water heater. Thanks.
