Hi Peter, I've worked extensively with premiere. Anyways the flicker that you are getting is the result of having the wrong type of field selected. You can start with Upper field, Lower field, or no field (deinterlaced). You will have to experiment with changing the field before you produce the AVI file. I don't have premiere in front of me to tell you how to do that, but this should take care of your problem.
