Hi all,

Hwei-Ling Greeney, a member of the Amherst Select
board, has invited any of you who are interested
to attend this meeting next week as part of
ongoing deliberations relating to the Amherst
master plan. Although not everyone is from
Amherst, lots of you come here for food,
shopping, the new cinema or to work at the colleges, so your input is valid.

No need to write to me unless you are interested.
You can reach me directly at az at a-zinternational.com.

best,

Amy Zuckerman
Hidden-Tech Founder

Dear friend,

Where to build more housing? What open space to
preserve? What type of zoning change can
accomplish a higher density of mixed use
development? These are significant
questions. The Town of Amherst is in the midst
of completing a master plan. A land use draft has
been produced in the process. Given the important
work you do, I believe, it is fitting for me to
invite you to come to the stakeholders meeting.

At this one-hour meeting, you will be briefed by
ACPthe nationally acclaimed consulting firm
which specializes conducting master planning in
college towns like ours, of the draft land use
plan. The bulk of the meeting will be devoted to
you and the interests you represent. As a
selected participant, you can help to fine tune
the draft and provide feedback to enrich the
final land use product at the end.

The meeting will take place at 1:30 PM, Thursday,
March 29 at the Amherst College Alumni House (off Spring Street).

As a member of the Amherst Select Board, I am
fully aware of the constituency you represent and
the level of expertise you posses. I sincerely
hope you will accept my humble invitation and
come to the stakeholder meeting on Amherst land use.

I am excited about the opportunity to work with
you. I look forward to hearing from you. Please
RSVP at your earliest convenience (253-4882; greeneyh at juno.com).

Thank you for your consideration,
