IMHO, finding space is always a big problem in this area. I have worked on a couple small plays and I am also a member of a local group of software developers, finding a place where people can get together cheaply is something I have long been interested in. I have spent time calling around and trying to find a space but I haven't had any luck yet. Right now we meet up at Panera Bread in Hadley. This works pretty well but it isn't really a good venue for any kind of presentation. Generally we all meet and chat as a group, things are pretty free- form. However, we're interested in having more formal presentations every so often, we meet every two weeks and we're thinking about presenting _something_ every third meeting. A place that is inexpensive and close to places to eat (like a coffee shop) would be ideal. Are there places like that in the area? If there's a fee and there are other groups interested in sharing the fiscal weight, I'd be interested in talking it over and seeing if that's something we could do.
