I atarted with a WordPress blog on my site - and
have been very happy with it. Recently, I have
set up WordPress hosted and Blogger blogs since
I will be setting up some blogs for clients and I
wanted to get a feel for their choices. The
second 2 don't have much content yet - mainly
doing it to figure out some things for myself and
others.

I like the best the WordPress on my own site -
the most flexible by far - and not hard to set
up. Also there are a bunch of people who will
set it up for you for free ... but you have to
know your password and hosting info. I did it
myself ... little scary to start .. but went fine.

Also, I just found out about a great resource -
http://dreamhost.com/
I just signed up for 2 years of hosting - at
$7.95/month - but with hosting unlimited domains
and subdomains, $50 off immediately, and 5 free
domain registrations. I have a friend who has
been using them and finds it great. My 5 days so
far has been good - goos email tech support for
free. (Does have a limit of 73 users in my
account - to sign in separately for ftp and such
- that seems stingy but I will live with it (a
joke)). They are a small company who wants to
make a living and not sell to a bigger company -
they say.

Hope this is helpful,
Diane Clancy
