I highly recommend checking out hwww.dealnews.com for recent deals on printers. Recent  laser deals included: Brother HL-2070N Network Laser Printer for $88 shipped, and a HP LaserJet 1020 Laser Printer for $80 shipped
   
  With a rebate, the inkjet printer/fax/copier/scanner i got was $50. You can buy ink cheaply at sites like www.abcink.com 
  If you are sure you are only going to print in black and white, especially for higher volumes, an inexpensive laser is probably the best bet.
