Amy, depends what "everything" is... most standard applications are made for mac too (like Microsoft office: word, excel, powerpoint)... and there's a new application called Parallels that runs Windows WHILE you're running the regular mac OS on the mac. Since Apple stared using Intel processors (about a year ago) there's been a "migration" of longtime PC users to Apple because the compatibility issue isn't really there anymore. Having said that, there is a little adjustment time involved but, I've never met an unhappy Apple user.
