Executive Director - Amherst Survival Center

Seeking Executive Director for the Amherst Survival Center, a  
community center where people in need receive food, clothing, relief  
from isolation, and connections to social services.  The E.D.  
provides leadership and management of the agency, and is primarily  
responsible for fiscal management, fundraising/grants management,  
program management, and community relations.  Looking for an  
experienced and compassionate leader to provide fiscal oversight,  
create a welcoming environment, motivate staff, fundraise, and  
promote positive community relations.  Qualified candidates will have  
a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred); at least 3-5 years  
experience in senior nonprofit management, including fiscal oversight  
and staff supervision; knowledge of the issues and challenges facing  
this population; familiarity with social service systems; and  
competence in working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds and  
financial circumstances.  This is a fulltime position with benefits.
