[Hidden-tech] Taking over for a deceased webmaster

I would find out who they registered the site through such as Network
Solutions or GoDaddy.com.

You can track registration information in the Whois database. Sometimes
there is a technical contact and and administrative contact. If the
deceased guy was only one of these, you can probably just get the other
contact to authorize the transfer.

Otherwise, I would imagine it would work just like any other situation
where someone has died. You have to show proof of death with a death
certificate and also provide some proof that you have authority to take
it over.

Good luck.
