Here's some feedback from someone who specializes in web and networking services for non-profits. While his experience differs from at least one post here on HT, it's worth contemplating. Among my colleagues, dreamhost has a bad reputation for their free hosting offers. Their pop and smtp service is frequently down, the support is nonexistant, and their servers are blacklisted. One colleague of mine has two clients on dreamhost who cannot get their mail to many recipients and the dreamhost servers are the culprit. I dont think any of these folks are necessarily getting this higher level package offered below, which could be an improvement, but I would not recommend them unless I heard better stories in the future.
