Thanks for mentioning the "doobee" thing. Although I was long ago won over by the high quality of the information posted by HT members, I still find it somewhat hard to take seriously a group that hides behind this kind of juvenile posturing. Likewise, although the Biznik site is very slick and well designed, the slogan ("Business networking that doesn't suck") is so off-putting that I would never consider associating myself with it. Of course, those involved in Biznik may actually think they are cleverly chasing away those people who don't share what they probably see as their generational outlook, but eventually, anyone who is serious about making a living on their own needs to grow up and stop playing to the insiders in their own circle.
