Steve Hawley: Little is Big Again - Writing a Managed Mobile Application
in .NET 


With Microsoft's release of Windows Mobile 5.0, developing applications
for Mobile Devices has never been easier.  Join us on February 6 for a
presentation by Atalasoft's Chief Software Architect Steve Hawley on
developing mobile applications using the Compact Framework.

This presentation will cover the very basics of writing and debugging
applications for Windows Mobile 5.0 including a discussion of the
compact framework, basic forms code and debugging mobile applications.
Also covered will be some image manipulation, and POOM (Pocket Outlook
Object Model).

Please bring an open mind, your ideas, and experience to share with the
group.  Software developers, project managers, students and anyone
interested in developing better software are encouraged to attend. 

Steve Hawley is the Chief Software Architect at Atalasoft Inc.  A former
employee of Adobe Systems, Hawley was a key contributor to the first 4
versions of Acrobat and is a bad amateur trumpet player.

>From the South
Travel Interstate 91 North, take Exit 17B (Easthampton). Follow Route
141 to Easthampton. At the foot of the mountain, turn right onto East
St. Follow for approx. 2.3 miles. Turn left on to Ferry St. Follow to
the end. Take a left onto Pleasant St. Go approx 3/10 of a mile,
Eastworks will be on your left at 116 Pleasant St. Enter the main
entrance and take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor. The Atalasoft
office is just past the Eastworks office on the left, Suite 321

the bottom of the ramp. Follow route 5 to Easthampton. Turn right onto
East St. Follow for approx. 1.5 miles. Turn right on to Ferry St. Follow
to the end. Take a left onto Pleasant St. Go approx 3/10 of a mile,
Eastworks will be on your left at 116 Pleasant St. Enter the main
entrance and take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor. The Atalasoft
office is just past the Eastworks office on the left, Suite 321.

(if you miss East St. and end up in the town of Easthampton, follow
signs for Rt. 10 north, and take a right at the rotary onto Pleasant St.
Eastworks will be on your right.)
