Software Engineer, Image Understanding
Millivision Technologies


South Deerfield, MA USA 

Millivision Technologies of South Deerfield, MA currently has an immediate
full-time staff position available in image processing. Only candidates who
meet all requirements described below will be considered. The ideal
candidate will: 

1. Possess a minimum of a BS preferably in Computer Science, with at least 3
years of pertinent progressive experience, 2 of which must be in image
processing.

2. Have experience with software development, 

3. Have clearly demonstrated working knowledge and skills in C++, including
multi-threaded programming.

4. Have demonstrated experience with Matlab and the Matlab Image Processing
library. 

You will work in a small team of dedicated professional engineers as they
develop cutting-edge products for the security industry. Western
Massachusetts is blessed with a low cost of living and a beautiful and
culturally rich environment with several local educational institutions
including the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Principal Engineer, Image Understanding

Millivision Technologies of South Deerfield, MA currently has an immediate
full-time staff position available in image understanding and computer
vision. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of MS with 5+ year's
experience, or a PhD. Degree(s) can be in any of mathematics or applied
mathematics, physics, EE or Computer Science, but with a primary emphasis on
processing of real-world images. The candidate must have experience with
computer vision, 2D/3D image processing, and software development, and in
particular, expert knowledge of at least one of the following areas:
modeling of the shape and motion of humans, tracking in the presence of
noise, or neural networks as applied to noisy moving images. Experience with
moving images and images in the presence of strong Gaussian and patterned
noise is a plus. Strong programming skills in C++ and Matlab are required. 

You will work in a small team of dedicated professional engineers as they
