[Hidden-tech] Mac 10.4 Questions

Shel,

1. Stuffit still has a free version, which as available here - http:// 
www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/index.html. Chances are there was just  
some error and you should uninstall/reinstall it. I can't answer the  
router question without more information.

2. Click on the magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner to  
use Spotlight, which is great for searching, and then click  
"Spotlight Preferences". I couldn't see anything about forcing it to  
just look at file names, but you can limit the types of files it  
looks at so its not scanning everything on you.

3. Your disk space has little to do with how fast your computer goes-  
deleting files will only help if you're running with less than 2gb of  
free space. Your best bet would be to update your memory and/or  
reduce the amount of applications you have running at once.

4. If the company doesn't offer support, find a new company.
