Hi, I have found the free ClipName utility (http://www.mainsoft.fr/en/downloads.htm) to be quite useful on PCs. ClipName provides a context menu item (right mouse) option to copy a single file name with path or multiple selected names to the Windows clipboard. I would love to cut and paste the file names as a batch into a Word document or an Excel spread sheet, but I have not found a method to do so. I end up cutting and pasting the file names one by one. I use Mac OS 10.3.9. Does anyone have a tip for this function? I have done screen shots of the folder directory, but these are bitmaps and are not manipulatable. I would be curious if batch-copying the list of files in a folder can be done on either a Mac or a PC.
