[Hidden-tech] Internet Access in the sticks?

Hi everyone. I am the Chair of the Shutesbury-Leverett Broadband
Committee--and official joint committee. We have been working really
hard on these issues for over three years now--for ourselves, and for
the rest of the Valley. We have learned a ton, and continue to make
slow but steady progress. We've had a lot of good local and national
media coverage--including the front page of the Boston globe last
summer, and this recent piece on a national web site for these issues:
http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/77512

In cooperation with Pioneer Valley Connect, we are planning a series
of workshops this winter on all aspects of the issue of broadband
solutions for under-served (or completely unserved) towns in the Valley.

I suggest folks check out our web site (www.slbc.us), and sign up for
our monthly email, which has lots of good local and national info
relevant to this struggle.

Thanks!

Aron
