[Hidden-tech] Any web hosts running MySQL 5?

VPS (Virtual Private Servers) are great for reselling or just managing
several hosts if you want that level of control (web server control
included). if you are looking to host your own account I could
recommend A2 Hosting because they are on the "bleeding edge" right now
offering MySQL 4.1.x, 5.0.x, Postgre 8.1.x, Ruby On Rails 1.1.x, and PHP
5.1.4. I haven't found many other places offering the latest stable
releases. Most seem reluctant to do it until absolutely necessary
(usually because Apache is a bear to configure with new versions of PHP
& MySQL, and Upgrading has a nasty reputation of taking clients off line
because of versioning/configuration/coding/bug issues that arise)

A2 is extremely affordable, I use them as a test bed as I continue to
learn and try new technologies. They have been the most flexible with
server settings such as allowing URL_fopen, for example. Furthermore,
PHP serving is very fast (thanks to Zend Optimizer). I think they offer
the most feature-rich package for under $10 a month I've seen, and yes,
the uptime is great. No problems with uptime that I can recall.

Okay... that was way more that you wanted, but hopefully that all helps you!
