Hi Hidden-Tech Techies -- We've got a real treat for those who come out to the UMass Fair next Tuesday, Oct. 24 - particularly all you IEEE folks. Lee Armstrong, one of the top U.S. standards developers who has worked in both trucking and automotive -- and is the key driver behind the first national standard for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) -- is planning to attend the internship fair so he can meet you and UMass faculty and students. What's even bigger news, is that Lee just moved from Boston to Southhampton. He's joining Hidden-Tech and wants to come out and hang with us. He's semi-retired (still pushing a few standards through like ITS) and looking for fun gigs and opportunities. You never know -- he might want to work with you! He's also curious about some lecturing or teaching. So if you weren't planning on coming, you may want to now. This is a big opportunity for techies to meet a super guy who could very well transform American highways in many ways. best, Amy Zuckerman hidden-tech founder, clerk
