[Hidden-tech] Two directors needed for Public Access TV Station

Montague Community TV (MCTV), a small, local public access station 
serving Montague, Gill and Erving, is seeking two dynamic, qualified 
candidates to fill the following positions.  Both positions report 
directly to the Board:


Administrative Director: 15 hours per week

Responsibilities include:
    * Outreach to town officials, boards, businesses and 
organizations to educate the community about MCTV services and 
encourage programming. Outreach includes but is not limited to 
speaking at business and organizational functions, creating a PR 
package, sending out press releases.
    * Attend and prepare materials for all MCCI Board meetings. 
Report to the board.
    * Work with Brick House business support team to prepare 
quarterly and annual reports.
    * Work with MCCI Board to develop policies.
    * Meet weekly with Technical Director.
    * Oversee staffing of the studio with the TD.
    * Oversee volunteers with the TD.
    * Monitor functioning of the station including keeping track of 
programming hours, public service announcements, equipment usage, 
facilities usage and staffing.
    * Monitor quality of customer service.
    * Assist in training and taping Selectmen meetings.
    * Develop projects with GMRSD students.
    * Staff the station.
    * Fundraising.
    * Technical skills a plus.


Technical Director: 25 hours per week

Responsible for:
    * Maintaining and inventory of equipment
    * Advise board on status of equipment and purchases
    * Establish and implement policy for use of equipment and facilities
    * Develop and implement monthly training sessions
    * Develop new programming with community producers and help 
Community Producers produce their programs through training
    * Annual inventory assessment
    * Program channel 17
    * Program the Community Bulletin Board
    * Meet weekly with Administrative Director
    * Coordinate / manage volunteers and stipend producers with 
Administrative Director
    * Liaison with cable provider on technical issues
    * Tape selectmen meetings, school committee meetings, town 
meetings, H.S. Graduation and other events and meeting at the 
discretion of the MCCI board of directors.
    * Work with Turners Falls High School to implement student 
training and student productions.

Qualifications for both positions:
    * Good organizational skills
    * Excellent people skills
    * Computer and Internet skills
