Application
I am student of architecture in the 9th semester at the Technical University
of Berlin. I will spend the next semester in the Architecture+Design
Department of Art & Art History, University of Massachusetts, Amherst.I am
looking for a part-time job from the 1st of September till the 22nd of
December 2006. I already worked at Rathke Architects in Berlin. I have
worked with such programs: AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, VectorWorks, SketchUp. I have
also experience in model building. I have no problems with English language.
Yours sincerely

Delighted to receive a an enquiry from a student in Germany. You are
using some very interesting program of which I have no knowledge at all. I
have a solo graphics studio and use Indesign, QuarkXpress, Photoshop,
Dreamweaver, and Illustrator but no job opportunity for you.
I will, however, forward this email to a few architects that I know and
some newsgroups.
Compared to Berlin, this is a tiny university town, but with a 5 College
Consortium. There may not be internships in your field, but there might be
some easy student work on campus. I suggest also that you use contacts with
the department where you will be studying.
Very best wishes
Robin
