Hi Fred, We are in the process of converting our system from perl to ROR and thus far have been very impressed with the dev speed and how quickly engineers with object oriented programming experience seem to pick it up. Incidentally, we are currently looking to expand our engineering staff, so anyone looking for work with experience or interest in ROR should feel free to forward a resume. I watched a screencast last night conducted by <http://www.loudthinking.com/about.html> David Heinemeier Hansson, the creator of 'Rails. He creates a functioning weblog with comment & administrative functionality in roughly fifteen minutes. Granted, Mr. Hansson is probably the most proficient 'Rails developer, he created it. What is does show is how rapid it can be. I'm very impressed, and of course, I'm diving headlong into learning it. Are any of you currently using 'Rails? If so, what has the learning curve been like, and what are your overall development & deployment experiences?
