[Hidden-tech] Speaking of blogs

Hi everyone

I notice we have some great bloggers on here, that is great! I happen to
run a couple weblogs - one is here: http://www.awillandaway.com - focusing
on our efforts to raise money & awareness for my son's disease, Cystic
Fibrosis (in addition, I blog on web design there, too). We are currently
running a promotion - donate $5 or more to Cystic Fibrosis thorugh the CF
Foundation (secure online donation), and have a chance to win a website
designed by me and in conjunction with Winans Creative
(http://www.winanscreative.com).

This year my wife, me, and our families are all pitching in to raise $10,000
for CF research. It's a high goal for a relatively unknown charity, but I
have been promoting like crazy through feedburner (RSS), del.icio.us,
digg.com, and any other RSS aggregation sites (such as technorati) that I
can reach.

I'm turning to you all now to spend a minute and see what we are trying to
do, and perhaps you can help at least spread the word, if not donate a small
amount to this cause. You'll be happy to know almost 90 cents of every
dollar goes to actual research from the CF foundation.

We are also walking for great strides in May, the 10k walk that concludes
the fundraising period. If you want more information on participating, we
are always looking to grow our team!

Corporate sponsorship would also be greatly appreciated!

Finally, for a personal request to our avid bloggers - I am looking to
really grow as a professional blogger, and if you have any feedback for
improving my weblog in any way, please take a moment and drop me a line. I
would greatly appreciate it!

Please visit http://www.awillandaway.com and see if you can help us reach
our goal!

Thanks!

Fred Bliss
