Readers and Writers Invited to Hear Yankee Magazine
Columnist Edie Clark at Goshen Library on Saturday, March 4

Readers and writers, the Goshen Library invites you come
out of the cold on Saturday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m. to meet
Edie Clark, a long-time columnist and writer for Yankee
Magazine and author of the new book, "The View from Mary's
Farm," a collection of essays that bring the seasons and
culture of New England to life.

Edie will read two or three essays that take place on her
farm in southern New Hampshire. Then she and Goshen
Librarian Marcia Yudkin will answer questions about writing
and getting published. At the end of the event, those
interested in forming a local writer's group will have the
opportunity to meet one another and set up a meeting.

For more than 25 years, Edie Clark's articles and columns
about life in New England have appeared in Yankee Magazine.
She is also the author of "The Place He Made," a moving
memoir of her husband Paul, who died of cancer at the age
of 39. Edie teaches writing at Emerson College in Boston
and has received the New Hampshire Writers and
Publishers Project's award for Excellence in Journalism and
numerous other awards.

Copies of "The View from Mary's Farm" will be available at
the event for those wishing to purchase them and get Edie
Clark's autograph.
