Readers and Writers Invited to Hear Yankee Magazine Columnist Edie Clark at Goshen Library on Saturday, March 4 Readers and writers, the Goshen Library invites you come out of the cold on Saturday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m. to meet Edie Clark, a long-time columnist and writer for Yankee Magazine and author of the new book, "The View from Mary's Farm," a collection of essays that bring the seasons and culture of New England to life. Edie will read two or three essays that take place on her farm in southern New Hampshire. Then she and Goshen Librarian Marcia Yudkin will answer questions about writing and getting published. At the end of the event, those interested in forming a local writer's group will have the opportunity to meet one another and set up a meeting. For more than 25 years, Edie Clark's articles and columns about life in New England have appeared in Yankee Magazine. She is also the author of "The Place He Made," a moving memoir of her husband Paul, who died of cancer at the age of 39. Edie teaches writing at Emerson College in Boston and has received the New Hampshire Writers and Publishers Project's award for Excellence in Journalism and numerous other awards. Copies of "The View from Mary's Farm" will be available at the event for those wishing to purchase them and get Edie Clark's autograph.
