1. Be fully aware of the tax advantages you get as an independent 
contractor--you can deduct all sorts of stuff.

2. Ask for a consultation with a qualified accountant/tax prpearaer 
who focuses on solo preneurs. I recommend Gerry hersh, 584-2666.
