For an upcoming issue of my Name Tales newsletter (on business naming), I'm looking for examples of Pioneer Valley businesses that have a name that makes perfect sense to local people but might not be understood, or understood in the same way, by people outside the area. These names are kind of an in-joke, and because the clientele are also local, it's perfectly appropriate. For instance, Paradise Copies, Noho Yoga. The more obscure the local reference, the deeper the in-group reference, the better. Obviously, this can be your own business or one you just know of. Thanks!
