A lot of these overtime rules changed recently due to Federal labor law changes. I think you're ok with your rate+x. Some large corporations pay time-1/2 plus x, with a minimum. For example, if they wake you up and you answer their question or fix the problem in 5 minutes, and your minimum is 1 hour, then you get paid one hour.
