Welcome to the wonderful world of unlicensed radiators. This is part of why
"WiFi" isn't the Great White Hope that the marketing machines make it out
to be.
(a) lots of corded phones are available with a headset jack. This is the
best idea if it will work for you. In general, you are always better to be
wired than wireless if possible.
(b) lots of cheaper cordless phones run in the 900MHz band, these MAY work
for you (depending on whether your wireless problem is due to actual
in-band interference or simple overload).
(c) there are also (generally more expensive) cordless phones that run up
in the 5.n GHz band (where 802.11a lives). These also may work for you.
