[Hidden-tech] Why am I losing internet connection frequently?

M & K~

You may be colliding w/yr wireless phone if it operates above 900 mgHZ.
This is what happened to me. If I changed the channel on the phone or
the router, the router came back up.
But every time the phone rang, it was Russian roulette if it would
happen again or not.

I spent ALOT of time w/Plantronics (the phone maker) trying to find out
if I could hard set the phone channel or have it skip a channel or
what... nothing. You can't stop the phone from channel surfing when it
comes up.

So I dug out my old 900 MgHZ phone & probs are gone.

They suggest moving the linksys away from the phone- but mine was 1
story + 2 rooms away and it still happened.

Maybe this isn't yr problem, (& I hope it isn't because there isn't a
real good solution yet) but you probably want to check it out.

Yrs,
Lili Dwight
