For me, resetting the modem and router worked for a while but the problem became incessant. I replaced the cables...tried connecting off the network, etc. Eventually, Charter replaced the line going from the pole to my house and that appears to have solved the problem. I think the bottom line is this: the solution could be something as simple as moving your router away from your modem or as drastic as replacing the entire line. Good Luck! Adell
