[Hidden-tech] A complicated Mac/Quark scenerio - help!

Hi Diane,

Keep the G3 on System 9.2 and Quark 4.11.  Don't bother purchasing Quark 5.

There are enough font issues running Quark 6.5 on OSX, that you'll be glad
you have 4.11 running.  Then buy yourself a copy of Marxtools so you can
open Quark 6.5 in 4.11 (or find a friend who will loan you the application
file for Quark 5 so you can downsave from 6.5 to 5 to 4.11).

I'm happy to speak with you more off list if you want to phone me -- we've
been through all of this at our studio, where we're running both Quark 6.5
on G5s and Quark 4.11 on a G4.
