I developed a theory about determining the age functional of your computer. You heard of "dog years"? One human year = seven dog years. My five year old dog is comparable to a thirty-five year old human. "Computer Years" goes as follows: One human year = twenty computer years! One year old computer = Strong, quick, current, etc. Two year old computer = Lots of stored knowledge, very capable Three year old computer = Still does the work but slower, occasional problems Four year old computer = Elderly, functional (if alive) but creaky Five year old computer = Forget it. Too old for today's tasks. Time for a new machine, Jill. But don't worry. You can get a great machine at very reasonable prices these days. Plus, you can always stuff your old hard drive into your new computer to access that data easily if you need it. I hope this helps. Andy
